Interior Design Styles

Defined In 2023

We are frequently asked to define the differences between design styles for our clients. Here are some styles that work well with the home for the current real estate market.

Contemporary- Organic Modern

Our most popular style trend currently is Contemporary Organic Casual. We start with a soft subued natural palette for an organically refined oasis. Calm warm tonal hues bring a casual relaxed comfort to the home. Layering organic materials such as wood, jute, stone, plants, linens bring the outside inside. Moss, fiddle leaf, succulents or feathery plumes are a gift from mother nature for a Zen aesthetic. Layers of throws, pillows and woven baskets add a sense of warmth and security. All of these natural elements brought into a living environment adds a bit of soulful tranquil peacefulness to the home.

Contemporary- Organic Luxe

Contemporary Organic Luxe interior design doesn't refer to a specific period of time, it's constantly changing to reflect the popular styles of present day design.Though people often tend to confuse modern interior design styles with contemporary interior design, there is a difference between the two that makes them unique in and of themselves.

Contemporary Luxe style is completely of the moment while modern interior design styles borrow from the best of 50’s and 60’s. Simple straight lines, organic shapes, with an emphasis on the ergonomics and functionality of the furnishings. Contemporary interior design styles incorporate feminine curvy lines, soft plush furnishings and shiny surfaces.
